In 2001, I braved a bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy and several reconstructive surgeries. The day I was told I had breast cancer changed my life forever. As I realized that I was in a serious fight for my life, I developed a strong heartfelt desire to share my experience and speak out about breast cancer.
I designed this breast cancer awareness bracelet with an engraveable charm to commemorate my journey. On my charm, I engraved my initials on the front and the date I was diagnosed on the back.
Survivors will have their initials monogrammed on the front of the charm and any significant date on the back. Supporters will have their own initials monogrammed on the front of the charm and the initials and significant date of a loved one on the back.
This is a great way to celebrate yourself or a friend or memorialize a family member or friend, as well as build awareness and help fund the fight for a cure.
My purpose is to build awareness and give a portion of the proceeds to awareness, education and research programs.
I'm a cancer survivor!
